Safe Arrival Shipping Warranty
Zeon Corporation (Zeon) warrants its illuminated signs against shipping damage reported within three (3) days of delivery to first end user, as indicated by delivery records of shipping carrier. End user is responsible for testing sign in accordance with instructions printed on shipping carton before unpacking sign. Breaking the warranty seal, if present, voids this shipping warranty.
Zeon’s responsibility under this shipping warranty is limited to repair or replacement of nonfunctional signs, at its sole discretion. Zeon will pay freight costs to return defective signs to its plant and reship functional signs to end users. Zeon will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages as a result of shipping damage, including loss or delays of business.
End user must contact Zeon at 1-800-767-8867 for instructions if sign fails test. End user must save all packaging material to support claims against shipping carrier until instructed otherwise by Zeon.
General Sign Limited Warranty
After safe delivery to end user, Zeon warrants its signs to be free from defects in materials and workmanship as indicated in the table below. Zeon will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any defective component during the warranty period. This warranty does not cover breakage; misuse or abuse; unauthorized repair, alteration or disassembly by unauthorized personnel; or operation by improper voltage or current (including power surges and lightning strikes). Replacement or repair of any component does not extend the warranty period of the sign.

End user must contact Zeon at 1-800-767-8867 for warranty service. End user may be directed to take sign to a local, qualified sign company for troubleshooting before warranty service can be provided. Repair service vouchers may be issued for local repair of signs by a qualified sign company, or Zeon may direct that signs be returned to the factory for repair or replacement. No sign may be returned unless a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is first issued by Zeon. The RMA number must be written on the box of any sign returned for service.
Zeon will not accept signs for warranty service unless packed in Zeon-approved original or replacement packaging. End user should save original packaging material in case service becomes necessary.
General Repair Policy
Zeon prohibits the repair or modification of its signs by any person other than its own employees or a qualified sign technician employed by a qualified sign company. A qualified sign company is defined as a company whose primary business is the fabrication, installation and servicing of neon or other illuminated signs. Zeon reserves the right to determine the qualification of any technician or sign company to service its signs.
Failure to abide by this policy voids all warranties and may result in damage to sign and create safety hazards that may cause personal injury or property damage. Zeon takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for signs serviced in violation of this policy.
The prohibition against unauthorized repair does not apply to components intended to be replaceable by the end user, such as fluorescent lamp tubes.
Non-Warranty Inspection, Maintenance, and Repairs
Signs beyond their warranty periods should be inspected annually, and maintained and repaired, if necessary, by Zeon or a local, qualified sign company. Exposed tubing neon signs will normally not be accepted for repair at the factory due to the high probability of shipping damage. However, local, qualified sign companies may purchase repair parts, including bent glass tubing units, from Zeon.
Zeon® NeoGrids® and fluorescent lightboxes may be returned to Zeon for repair with prior authorization. Zeon will furnish a repair estimate before undertaking any work. Repairs must be paid for in advance. Zeon can provide customers with new sign pricing for comparison with either internal or external repair estimates.
